RCR Flooring Products Ltd appoints Lee Brockway as Managing Director

RCR Flooring Products Ltd is delighted to announce the appointment of Lee Brockway as Managing Director, effective 1st April 2019.

As RCR Flooring Products’ Sales Director for nine years, Lee (pictured left) is well known in the UK industrial flooring industry and has a wealth of experience in international markets.  Prior to joining RCR Lee worked for Somero Enterprises, manufacturer of the popular Laser Screed® concrete floor levelling equipment used by flooring contractors worldwide.  He has been a board member the Association of Concrete Industrial Flooring Contractors (ACIFC), the industry’s professional association, since 2012, and served as Chair from 2016-18.

RCR Flooring Products Ltd manufactures the Permaban brand of armoured joints and leave-in-place formwork for concrete floors.  Established for over 35 years, the company manufactures in Devon and exports worldwide, and is owned by the international flooring group RCR Industrial Flooring.

Lee’s appointment comes as former MD Andrew Keen (pictured right) steps down in order to focus on his role as Chief Services Officer for RCR Industrial Flooring.  RCR Flooring Services – which incorporates flooring consultant Monofloor, plus the Permaneo repair brand – has flourished in the last three years under Andrew’s leadership.  Andrew has also been instrumental in developing another new brand, Floor Dynamics, which is set to launch in the spring of 2019.

“I am incredibly proud of all that the RCR Flooring Products team has achieved together since I joined the company in 2010,” commented Andrew.  “It’s been a period of immense change and growth, and Lee has been a pivotal part of that success.  I am convinced that under Lee’s direction the company will go on to achieve even greater things.”

“Taking on the leadership of a company of RCR’s calibre is an honour, and an exciting moment,” Lee added.  “While I will be overseeing the manufacturing and sales operations at our Lee Mill factory, I do so with the support of a strong team, so will be continuing to visit customers regularly and stay in touch with the market.  Doing so has built the Permaban brand to the respected name it is today, and I am looking forward to seeing this continue long into the future.”
